The 2024 Birchwood City-Clearview Manor Community Day, will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Birchwood Recreation Park, 1331 Fenwood Avenue, Oxon Hill, MD 20745 (No Rain Date); see attached flyer and vendor registration form if you or anyone you know would be interested displaying as a vendor.
Our event aims to bring together residents, local businesses, and organizations to celebrate the tapestry of our community. It’s a day of unity, festivities, and an opportunity for us to showcase the strengths and achievements of our community. Last year was our first big event coming together since COVID and our neighbors and partners made our 2023 Community Day a big success and we are expecting our 2024 Community Day to be even better!
It is in this spirit of unity and collaboration that we kindly request your support through a donation of money, cases of water, packaged chips or cookies. Every bit of support helps us reach our goal and create a successful event that benefits our community.
Also, we really need volunteers to assist us with a variety of activities, if you are interested, please contact: Elton Jones via email eltonbjones@aol.com. All youth volunteers will have the opportunity to serve the community and earn community service hours for your school. Volunteering always looks good on any academic/employment application.
